In the area of the Bálványos junction (120+400 km) of the M7 motorway, the main embankment and the joining embankments have been damaged several times during the construction and since the opening of the motorway.

Our company was commissioned by the State Motorway Management Ltd. to investigate and plan the repair of the most recent slides in 2010 and 2013.

Both movements occurred after periods of heavy rainfall, at the boundaries of layers with different permeability.

The rehabilitation was designed with drainage system, footing support stones and geotextile, geocell surface protection.
